Starting TONIGHT: Triple Bill Offers a Full Range of Emotions in One Diverse Evening

Tonight marks another first for Central City Opera with the opening of the “Triple Bill” composed of three diverse one-act operas. In just one evening, you can travel through time, across continents and into three very different stories. With each opera clocking in at under an hour, these seemingly simple operas are jam-packed with intensity and are each, in their own way, entertaining.

Featured in the Triple Bill are Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins and Poulenc’s The Breasts of Tiresias. Twice during the Festival season, you will have the opportunity to see all three shows in one night: tonight's opening and again on July 30. On several other nights, two of the three one-acts will be featured as a Double Bill. Check the calendar for dates and times, then call the Box Office at (303) 292-6700 or purchase your tickets online.

Yesterday, the Denver Post published a preview article highlighting this first-time venture for Central City Opera. Check it out! Also, for more information, read my recent blog post on the Triple Bill that highlights the details of each of the one-acts.

You won’t know until you go!
